"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.  It is the source of all true art and science."
              - Albert Einstein

Art is a language through which we seek to express our understanding of the world in terms of shape, color, and, above all, light.  Through careful observation and the development of skills in the fundamentals of art, we become attuned to the beauty and wonder of our world.  The astonishing thing is that the more we lose ourselves in the object of our observation, the more of our true selves is revealed.
