There are times when we are presented with an opportunity to deepen our understanding of an event in history by going to the site where the event took place.  To sit in the room where Jefferson and Madison discussed Constitutional government before it became a reality, or to walk to the grounds of Pickett's Charge, allows you to feel history in a way that brings more understanding than a thousand words could provide.  Find such an opportunity and learn.
